Presentation of the SILLAGES initiative

The ambition of the SILLAGES initiative - free resources for enhancing SocIaL and internationaL Acces to the Grandes EcoleS - is to reach a collaborative production of multimedia content for scenarised and interoperable resources complementing the present online availability related to the French higher education, and especially for the access to the "grandes écoles".

The SILLAGES initiative results of the development, under the guidance of Ecole polytechnique / ParisTech, ESSEC and ePrep, of two Web sites which have been developed in their exploratory phase by ePrep since 2006 : a Platform for pedagogical resources (www.plateforme.sillages.info) and a Wiki for collaborative edition of complementary resources (www.wiki.sillages.info).

The official launch of the SILLAGES initiative held at the Palais du Luxembourg, in Paris, in November 2010. In March 2011, SILLAGES was proud to get the patronage of Commissariat à la diversité et à l'égalité des chances. In October 2011, the SILLAGES.info association has been created : the first members of the association are Conférence des grandes écoles, Ecole Polytechnique ParisTech, EDHEC, ePrep, ESSEC and UNISCIEL.

The SILLAGES initiative has for partner OMERIC and is supported by Agence universitaire de la Francophonie.
