Positioning
In France, the "grandes écoles" bring together 320 000 étudiants, deliver 40% of Master degrees, and develop international openess. In this framework, the SILLAGES initiative is a tool for promoting the Higher Education French model in the European LMD system, especially the Francophone model.
Targeted public
In term of international access, the the SILLAGES Platform and the SILLAGES Wiki are aimed at foreign students wanting to enter in "classes préparatoires" or in "grandes écoles" in France.
Actions
Multidisciplinary adapted resources and distance training
SILLAGES encourages authors to contribute to the SILLAGES Platform and to the SILLAGES Wiki through the SILLAGES Calls for contributions. To date, these Websites offer more than 400 free pedagogical resources.
- Beyond, since 2012, a SILLAGES distance training in ancient Greek has been opened to IPELSHT students (TUNISIA).
International cooperation between establishments
In line with International cooperation between establishment developed by ePrep from 2005 to 2011, SILLAGES teachers are involved in international missions as listed below (the latest mission is at the top of the list) :

Collaborative work
In order to better adapt SILLAGES resources to students'needs, and to be able, in the future, to build an offer for each type of user, a collaborative work has been developed within the SILLAGES Community of Practice.
